The Streamline Machine

The Streamline Machine

The first thing you need to know about the Streamline is that it is purpose built for Static Contraction Training.

  • Taking up just 45" by 26" of floor space, you’ll use a little more space when using the bench or the leg press position, but when not in use it stands upright and the bench stacks easily out of the way.
  • The bar weighs less than 20 lbs so that anyone can place it into position.
  • The bar is capable of handling 2000 lb lifts, and the bench meter and base are capable of handling 5,000 lbs of resistance in the Leg Press position.
  • Each of the adjustment sliders work independently so it is easy for anyone of any level of strength to adjust.
  • Precise, Unlimited Resistance - The meter measures force in increments of a single pound, giving you exact feedback whether you are a beginner doing an 11 lb bicep curl, or a world-class strongman doing a 3427 lb Leg Press. No other system comes standard with this range of versatility (kg readout also available).
  • When you workout you want to achieve the maximum intensity with each and every rep.
  • The Streamline's patent pending metered technology, with large, bright digital readout lets you know exactly how much force you are exerting each and every second.
  • This intensity means that you get maximum development stimulation from each exercise.
  • Every system comes ready to handle up to 5,000 pounds of resistance. This means you can start at any level, even beginners, and people in rehab, and progress to any level, even world class athletes.
  • Easy positioning. Numbers on the inside and outside of the columns allow you to instantly and exactly position the exercise to get set up fast, saving you time.

  • Exact Location. The coarse and fine adjustment points allow you to adjust your workout location to within 3/4" which allows you to target the ideal position for your body for each exercise.

9 Things I Absolutely Love About the Streamline

No Dangerous Weights

Strong range leg presses are an exercise in which almost anyone can do over one thousand pounds. I work with many people who press more than 3,000 pounds. On a conventional leg press machine, that kind of weight can cause an injury in a split second. The Streamline uses no weight so it is impossible for the leg press to cause an injury from bearing down on you. Yet the Streamline can provide up to two and a half tons of resistance!

No “Spotter” Needed

Since the Streamline doesn’t use weights, rubber bands or springs, there is no need to have a spotter or training partner help you move a weight into position. Anyone from beginner to expert, male or female can workout in total privacy.

Save the Cost of Iron

As I mentioned, many advance trainees need 3,000 pounds or more on a leg press. Where I live iron plates cost about $0.60 per pound. So I need $1,800 worth of iron just for this one machine! With the Streamline I don’t need to buy (or move!) a single iron plate!

Honest Resistance

Lifting weight on an angle is not equal to lifting it straight up. Most leg press machines slide their weight up and down on a 45-degree angle. That angle yields 70.7% of the weight in use. So 2,000 pounds leg press is really equal to only 1,400 pounds on the Streamline. Conversely, the Streamline’s maximum capacity is equal to doing over 7,000 pounds on a conventional leg press…and no such machine exists. The Streamline stands alone.

Accurate Variable Range

Conventional machines typically have safety stops only at the top and bottom of their range. If you’re more than six feet tall, the upper safety stop won’t even be near the end of your reach. That means the weight can slide further than you intend it to and cause a nasty injury. But the Streamline is adjustable in increments of less than an inch so that you press against the resistance in the exact place you want…the place that allows you to garner the greatest overload, whether you’re 5’0” or 6’8”!

Instant Stopping

You really have to experience this feature of the Streamline to understand how revolutionary it is. With conventional machines if you are part way though a lift and feel a strain or sharp pain, you have to lower the weight while enduring the pain and adding to the injury. With the Streamline there is no movement so you can stop applying pressure in an instant. This is the way high intensity exercise was meant to be!

Moveable Machine

Even without any weight plates on it, a decent conventional machine weighs six or seven hundred pounds. Once you set it up somewhere it can’t be moved without a lot of aggravation and the help of a few friends. The other day my wife was vacuuming and slid the Streamline out of the way. Herself. Despite the fact it is very well built and delivers massive overload…it only weighs about 150 pounds!

Delivers Ultra-Efficiency

The Streamline was purpose-built to provide all of the best Static Contraction exercises. So you can quickly move from the best triceps exercise to the best lat exercise to the best shoulder exercise. In fact, you can complete an entire SCT workout in under 5 minutes! And that workout will deliver the maximum possible overload to each targeted muscle group. That’s represents a 'first' in the world of exercise science!

Know What You “Have In The Tank”

When you load plates on a conventional machine you have to take a guess at what you “have in the tank” that particular day. Usually you have guess in multiples of 90 pounds. (One 45-pound plate per side) And even if you set a personal record, you still don’t know if that was the very best you could have done. But with the Streamline you get an instant digital readout of your peak resistance. It could be 1,237 pounds, or 2,841 pounds…that level of precision is absolutely revolutionary! And that means you can take your goals to the next level…and the next level after that!
